The Romany Jewelry brand was created in Slovenia, built on twenty years of experience in crafting crocheted jewelry for family and close friends.
As the creator behind Romany Jewelry, I was already in my younger years fascinated by crocheted accessories that matched my then-bohemian fashion style. I found inspiration during my travels through various seaside towns, where I was captivated by their small, colorful shops featuring locally made jewelry.
That is how I began crocheting jewelry myself, gradually refining my work by adding tiny beads in all possible colors and combinations. As I entered my “more serious” years, I wanted to create jewelry that remained crocheted yet felt elegant. Through experimenting and developing new designs, I achieved results that extended far beyond creating pieces for just my close circle.
Each piece of jewelry is a hand-woven story, created for individuals who seek more than just a fashion accessory. Around 4,000 tiny beads are woven into each piece, requiring more than 10 hours of exceptionally precise handwork. Every bead represents a small part of my energy, passion, and dedication—combined into a unique creation that highlights the personality and beauty of the person wearing it.
